Fred Pellicio

My Name is Fred Pellicio and I started training in the Martial Arts in 1987. I soon learned that the Martial Arts can truly change your life. After training 7 years I took a 8 year break to start a family, missing my training I started again this time with my children. All three of us got our 1st degree Black Belt in 2006. Two years later I obtained my 2nd Degree black belt and started teaching Martial Arts as a full time job. I am currently a member of the U.I.T.F. and hold the rank of 4th Dan. Martial Arts has changed my life and I will continue to keep changing the lives of the boys and girls, men and women I currently teach.
Garrett Vargas

I started training martial arts in 1997 at the age of 12. I earned my black belt in Sogo Ryu Bujutsu from the International Combat Arts Federation (ICAF) in 2003, I received his 2nd degree the following year. By the age of 16 I was teaching all age groups, from youth to adult. In early 2005 I enlisted in the United States Navy as a Master-At-Arms and was stationed in San Diego and overseas as a Law Enforcement and Force Protection Specialist. After my enlistment I returned to school at Palomar College and after 3 years transferred to San Diego State University as a Civil Engineering undergraduate, with an expected graduation date in the spring of 2016. In 2010 after separating from the USN, I joined San Diego Brazilian Jiu Jitsu where I have been student of the high caliber Judo and BJJ offered by their amazing staff. As of January 2016 I will be a Brown Belt under Sensei Paulo Fernando Augusto. It was at this time, 2010, when I joined Mr. Pellicio and started teaching martial arts again. In 2011 Mr. Pellicio and I joined the Unified International Taekwon-Do Federation (UITF). In March 2013 I received my 3rd Dan under GM Hwang. I am are currently training Taekwon-Do under Master Karstadt.

Kayte Pellicio

My name is Kayte Pellicio and I am 3rd Dan in Taekwondo. I started training in 2003 and have been teaching for over 9 years. I regularly compete in tournaments and have been to 2 international competitions. Besides Tae Kwon Do, I am in school to eventually become a high school math teacher, along with working a full time job. I plan to continue training the rest of my life and hopefully I will be able to earn 7th Dan before I’m 50!
Monica Licht

My name is Monica Licht and I have been training with RKM Martial Arts in Tae Kwon Do since 2013. I eventually became an assistant instructor at the studio as well as teaching at High Tech Elementary school in San Marcos for their Tae Kwon Do after school program. When not training, I am a busy mom of three and works full time as a Registered Nurse at a North County area hospital.
Jennifer Marquez

My name is Jennifer Marquez. I have been training in Tae Kwon Do for about five years. I have had an interest in martial arts since I was a child. Martial arts has become a very big passion of mine. It has helped me in many aspects of my life. I compete on a regular basis and recently returned from my first international tournament in Argentina with multiple medals (including a few gold)!  I wish to study Tae Kwon Do and other various types of martial arts for the rest of my life. 
Edgar Ayala

My name is Edgar Ayala. I am currently an engineering student and proud instructor for RKM Martial Arts. I have been training in the martial arts since ​I ​was 7 years old. I began training in Tae Kwan Do with Mr​.​ Pellicio ​in ​E​scondido 1 year after leaving my Kung Fu school. I have earned my black belt in Tae Kwon Do and although ​I​ plan on expanding into other arts, I will continue to train in Tae Kwon Do for the rest of my life.
